Happy Island

Once upon a time on a small island called Happy Island many animals had discovered how to speak English. Jimmy the turtle decided that today he would see if he could build some sort of a raft to go across the ocean and get to the land where the humans are to show off their talking ability. “Hey guys look I found some wood over in the corner to build a raft,” said Jimmy. “Oh like I care Jimmy I’d rather stay on this island where we are safe with food and water instead of risking my life in an ocean on a rag tag raft,” said Flo the snake. “Fine Flo be that way I’d rather go without you anyways, is anyone with me?” “yeah were with you Jimmy I’d love to get off this island and away from Flo,” said the others. They set off through the ocean on their new raft decked out with a 600 cc motor and neon lights with a cooler big enough to fit all the animals. It also had a sweet speaker system so that they could blast away the sharks underneath playing their favorite beats. They had the sweetest ride on the ocean.

When Jimmy finally got to the point where they were in cruise control he decided to check on the rest of the passengers. “Is everyone alright in here?” “Were doing awesome I’m so happy we have the speaker system and all the food we do or else I would’ve ended up like Flo,” said Dr. Michael the kangaroo. “Alright guys well I have to go continue the speed of the raft,” “Ok Jimmy you do that we’ll have fun with all the stuff you gave us,” said the others.

When they all arrived on the coast of New York they started getting a little antsy from sitting on the raft for over a week. Jimmy tried to convince them to chill out and that they would be there soon but no matter how hard he tried it still became harder and harder for them to sit still so he could tie up the raft to the pole. Dr. Michael was so excited to get off the boat that he actually fell off into the water and almost drowned except for the fact that he was a kangaroo and was able to stand. “Dr. Michael are you ok?” said Jimmy. “Yes don’t worry Jimmy I will be fine as long as I can find something to grab onto,” “Ok sit tight I’ll be down there in a little,” said Jimmy.

When they finally got Dr. Michaels out of the water they all ran onto the shore and started to talk to anyone they could find. Everyone was so freaked out that they called in a huge airstrike in on the animals living quarters. They were devastated and the only one left was Jimmy. He quickly jumped into the boat and drove all the way back to the island he came from. He and Flo were the only ones alive. They lived alone for all their lives until they died.
